I’m a Wellness Coach for women, mostly Moms, and a twin Mom myself! I’m passionate about helping moms reach another level of health and happiness.

 

 

 

Why did you become a health coach for Moms? 

 

I decided to become a health coach for Moms because after having children myself, I saw how grossly underserved postpartum women and moms in general are. I had postpartum depression, and have anxiety as well. Mental health for Moms is so important. In order for the family to be okay, Mom needs to be okay. 

I am passionate about helping Moms who feel lost, moms who feel like they know another, better level of life is out there, but are unsure how to reach it. I can take your hand as we walk down the path to a healthier and happier you. I’m also a registered nurse and have worked in healthcare for about 15 years. I’m passionate about helping others reach that next level, especially Moms.

Life postpartum shouldn’t JUST be about the baby or babies. Mom is important too. Women postpartum have not only gone through major changes to their body, but also their identity. It’s life changing and can be a challenge for sure. I can help you get to the next step in a more painless way. To help you process this in a healthy way.



What is a Health Coach for Moms?

 

A health Coach is a person who help guides Moms to a more desired, healthy life path. I would help you make goals for yourself and provide self-directed suggestions for you to implement. I know the challenges that Moms have in their daily life. I know that many moms put themselves and their needs by the wayside and basically ignore themselves in order to take care of everyone else. I’m here to say that you matter too! If you ignore your needs, your kids will learn this from you. It’s not something you want to pass on. Come on Mom, I’ve got you! Take my hand and let’s go on a walk to this healthier path. It’s not always easy to make changes to promote a healthy mindset, but it’s so worth it. 



What can I expect from working with you?

 

We focus on setting your goals of self care, we look at your current day-to-day life, and we look at what we could tweak in favor of more optimal health.

We will also look at your mental state.
We need to make sure you are showering yourself with self love. This is a pillar of optimal health! Mom life can be tough and many Moms tend to “beat themselves up” mentally for feeing like they failed their kids/family in some way. We need to ditch this Mom guilt and learn to be our own best friend.

I tend to work with Moms who have a busy lifestyle. If this is you and you are wondering how you could find the time for this, not to worry! Contact me, and I’m sure we can make something work.

Despite what others may think, Mom, you are not a robot or a super hero. You’re a human with needs, wants, and emotions just like the rest. There’s no shame in admitting you’re human too and have needs that need to be fulfilled. You are a priority too. You matter.
