Hello Friends,
Happy 2025, I’ve been on a blogging hiatus for sometime and thought it time to post an update. Caleb and Chloe started kindergarten this fall. It’s been tricky as Chloe is having trouble adjusting to her teacher’s style. She often tells me she is nervous to make red choices at school. Caleb is in a separate class and is doing well. He loves his teacher and school is going well. We are working hard on strengthening his hands writing muscles as fine motor tasks are difficult for him. We are also working on our feelings. Becoming more aware and trying to work to use calming down methods. Did anyone else with a kindergarten age kid have bathroom issues when school started? I’m wondering if maybe they are having trouble asking in time as we have had some hiccups with regard to this. Chloe is taking Drama class this fall as well. She’s going to be a bat in the play and is excited for that,
Dan graduated from the CCS academy and is rotating shifts until end of October, then finds out what shift he will be on and what section. He’s happy with where he’s at. I’m working at the school still and coaching clients with issues affecting their mental health especially.
It’s the tale end of summer here in the Midwest. Mornings start off upper 50s, low 60s, and the day drifts into the 80s. I’m eagerly anticipating fall and looking forward to the crisp air. Hope all is well with you readers.
