On Self Care…

Self-Care is the only way we can really care. -tmd

Think about it. ⬆️

Sometimes we have to grind through a hard period in life where we do the best we can as far as self care goes and that’s all we can do. When my twin babies were born, I didn’t get a good nights sleep until they hit the 9 month old mark. 🙃

We started sleep training around 6 months old, and after about 9 months old, I started to feel like a human again with the sleep part…. That’s my piece on how I had to “grind though it” at that time.

It has taken me a while to figure out the essential self-care I need. It can be hard to find balance with your kids, work and/or responsibilities, your identity, and your self-care needs. Keep working though to get it.

You can’t care for others if you don’t feel taken care of.

Self-care tip: next time you take a shower or a bath, try to only think about how refreshing or comforting the water feels. And how nice the soap smells 🧖‍♀️

Sending love to you all ✌️

You’ve got this 💚💚💚

That’s todays food for thought. 🙌

Thanks 🙏
