⭐️•Double electric breast pump (*essential for the breastfeeding mom.) insurance also pays for this to a certain point. If you’re considering the elvie or the willow, I didn’t do either. I rented the Medela Symphony double electric breast pump from the hospital. It was $90/month and my insurance paid for half the cost. If you’re considering the willow or the elvie, I would recommend joining the Willow/Elvie Facebook group there so much good information on there and it’s filled with moms that have used them.

⭐️• Vit d drops (need if breastfeeding)- we use BioGaia with probiotics too – can get on Amazon. (*essential, especially for exclusive breastfeeding mother to give to baby)

⭐️• Haakaa (*essential for BF Mom)

⭐️•Lansinosh breastmilk storage bags – storage bags are *essential. These storage bags are easy to use, and economical. 👍🏻👍🏻 from me.

⭐️•Pumping bra- for hands free. Was *essential to me. I wanted hands free

• Shirts for breastfeeding – Motherhood had the best tops that were dual maternity and easy to breastfeed in tops. The material is light, and the sides are subtly rutched for prenatal wear.

• Nursing tank tops

•Medela soothing gel pads (these saved me in the beginning)

• Lanolin nipple cream – very healing for broken skin

👶🏿👶🏿👯‍♀️ Items for Twins 👯‍♂️ 👶🏾👶🏾

⭐️• Need 2 separate cribs at all times (safety reasons) (*essential)

⭐️• 2 crib mattresses (*essential)

⭐️• Double stroller (unsurprisingly *essential for Twins lol)

⭐️• 2 car seats (*essential)

⭐️• My brestfriend nursing pillow (*to me, especially with twins, this pillow was *essential. I used it all the time, way more than twin z)

⭐️• My brestfriend – twin pillow or XL (*essential)

⭐️• Backpack diaper bag to free up your hands (*essential as a twin mom)

⭐️• Recliner or other large for breastfeeding or bottle feeding. Gliders/ rocking chairs won’t fit both babies (was *essential for me, I wanted a comfortable place to sit)

⭐️• Baby bath seat w suction cups on bottom (we used after 6mo), esp for for twins! (*essential to bathe both kiddos as the same time!!)

⭐️• 2 baby swings – I loved having a few baby swings it frees up moms hands to maybe eat lunch or get something done. Just make sure you’re always watching your babe in these. You have to be in the room. No SIDS for my moms, please and thank you. (*Essential, especially for Twins!) if you have lots of help, might be a bougie essential. Less help? Even more essential!

⭐️• 2 baby bouncer – bjorn is the best this to me was essential. It’s a bougie *essential item though. But it is GREAT! You could also probably do a baby swing instead, but these are cool because you control the sway with your foot. We used our Bjorn bouncers constantly.

⭐️• Best sippy cup – munchkin 360, it doesn’t leak! (*I say this is essential for the older babies)

⭐️• Diaper genie- we got 2, some people just use one, we didn’t want it to constantly be full (*essential)

⭐️• We used a double bassinet -halo bassinest (*Essential for us as we didn’t have crib in our bedroom). We used the halo twin bassinest & got ours used on fb market place for half the price. (*essential)

⭐️• Phone App or notebook to record diapers in beginning (*was *essential for me. I wanted to have my records on me without a hassle when I went for doctor appointments especially for Twins!!) too much sleep is lost in the beginning. It’s too easy to mix up! Make it easier on yourself and think of how you would prefer to take notes.

⭐️• Baby breeza – for formula dispensing (*essential for Twins!)

⭐️• Baby breeza bottle sterilizer (I thought this was *essential. I sterilized my twin babies bottles every time until they reached one year old). Was super useful for me.

• 2 bumpos

• Twin Z pillow – for breastfeeding & it can double as a tummy time pillow. I breastfed mostly in the football hold position and found that with the position my babes fed, I didn’t use this pillow a ton. It seems this may be a trial and error thing as well. If you buy it and don’t use it for breastfeeding, worst case scenario, you can use it for tummy time.

• Dry erase markers for bottles (to mark them so you remember who drank what)

• Universal double stroller frame (to snap in infant car seats) good for going to doctor or anywhere when babes are young. Very nice to have.
